In this leadership role, you will:
- Spearhead product development projects, collaborating with Project Managers, R&D, Production, Sourcing, Quality, and Service teams.
- Lead the technical direction of projects, ensuring the delivery of top-quality designs from concept to mass production.
- Drive innovation: Oversee redesigning existing products, developing new features, and solving quality issues.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain high standards for design, structures, and components.
- Communication & Collaboration: Lead and participate in project development, lead cross-functional communication, and coach your mechanical team.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement efforts within the engineering team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Cost & Lead Time Reduction: Actively reduce costs and production lead times.
- Knowledge Sharing: Strengthen team knowledge on applications and technologies.
You are a:
- Experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience (desired).
- Technical Mastermind: Proficient in Solidworks, ePDM, sheet metal design, E-Bom, FMEA, DFM, DFA, and time planning.
- (Optional) Electrical Savvy: Ability to understand and read electrical schematics and documentation (a plus).
- Leadership & Collaboration: Dynamic, analytical, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Problem Solver: Proactive and willing to take on new challenges and raise concerns when needed.
- Customer Focus: Possess a genuine customer service mindset and a passion for technology and manufacturing.
